A bit about me

I enjoy motorcycling and love touring, particularly on my own. My trips are rarely properly planned which allows me to have the freedom to change the route and what I want to see at the last minute. That’s the reason I have discovered some wonderful places which I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. I enjoy travelling in general and, for some reason, I am drawn to the US over and over again (ok, it’s the cars, the food and the craft beer!). I have also recently discovered a love for making ice cream and for developing unusual flavours. Rosemary and white chocolate anyone? Good food in general is something I enjoy (hence the need to weight train four times a week). Currently I am getting to grips with smoking various meats and becoming a BBQ master.

Experience

I am an Associate at Muse Advisory, specialising in DC pensions, DB operations and member experience.

My pensions career started in the policy world, launching and successfully leading PLSA's Pension Quality Mark for four years. Driven by the desire to put policy into practice, I joined Deloitte as a DC pensions and employee benefits consultant, eventually taking up Pensions & Benefits Manager role at Vodafone. At Vodafone I focussed on the DC pension plan governance, DB pension plan administration and operations (and related risk management), member experience, financial wellbeing and global benefits governance.

My experience therefore spans pensions policy, consulting and in-house, with an insight into how all three areas operate and interact with each other to deliver impactful pensions and employee benefits solutions.
