A bit about me
Music in all sorts of guises is something I spend a lot of time on and I sing with one of the big London choirs. I’m a charity Trustee for the choir, never a dull moment. The hills are often alive with some mountain walking and I also like cold water swimming as long as the sun is out.
Experience
I’m a Senior Adviser at Muse and have been involved in many client board effectiveness and Trustee governance review projects since 2009. More widely I bring many years of corporate governance experience from advising listed boards. I enjoy helping Trustee clients take forward their governance and their board effectiveness in the context of scheme objectives, and I bring experience of Trustee strategy facilitation. I am a board facilitator, coach and interviewer; I contribute Muse thought pieces and co-design our governance service developments. My recent work has included advising on trustee skills, gaps and appointment processes and facilitating workshops on board culture and on Trustee diversity & inclusion. I co-designed the soft skills exam used in professional pension trustee accreditation and I am a member of the TPR D&I Working Group. Most of all I am an open minded person who’s always curious about what you as the client are seeking to achieve and how best to help you get there.
