A bit about me
I’m a closet caravanner so I‘m at my happiest in a damp field in Wales, surrounded by family and many, many sheep.
I joined Muse in 2019 as a Senior Consultant. Having started life as an actuarial trainee, doing valuations by hand and a longing to meet clients led me to DC work. I joined LCP, specialising in governance, risk management and trustee effectiveness, before spending 10 years with more of a DC focus, becoming a partner at the firm and co-Head of Trustee Consulting. I was lead DC consultant for many FTSE 100 clients, helping them through benefit change projects, provider selection exercises and the day-to-day running of their schemes. Since joining Muse I have supported many clients with DC and governance related projects, and lead our work supporting Trustees and Sponsors with selecting and transitioning to Master Trusts. From brand new schemes with 60 members to £bn+ schemes, we cover the full breadth of the market. I quickly develop relationships with my clients and peers which enables me to “walk in their shoes” and help guide them through times of change.

Updating investment governance approaches
The feedback we received showed that we were appointed partly because the client thought we had fully listened to their issues and to what they were seeking to achieve and demonstrated that in our suggested scope and approach.
