A bit about me
I live in a small village just outside of Bath and have a reasonable sized garden that takes a fair bit of time to keep under control and I’m rubbish at gardening! I have recently started keeping bees which is absolutely fascinating although they don’t seem to like me very much and I get stung regularly – they seem to leave everyone else living here alone. Each autumn we use the apple crop from the trees in the garden to make our own cider that always goes down very well the following summer and I’m gradually perfecting the recipe.
Experience
I am so pleased to have joined Muse where I will continue delivering Trustee Executive Services with likeminded and experienced colleagues which is work I enjoy very much. For many years I have worked with a wide range of pension funds, scheme types and trustee boards. Over that time I have lead administration operations, helped design and implement admin systems, have provided detailed consultancy advice to trustees and, for the last decade or so I have specialised in trustee support work. My current work covers the many challenges facing a large defined benefit scheme as it matures and moves towards its end game. This includes keeping a watch on funding considerations, investment structure, covenant monitoring, trustee governance as well as day to day operational matters.
