Our Mission Statement

Muse Advisory helps trustees and companies to better govern and manage their pension schemes. Improved outcomes for members and sponsors are delivered through independent consulting and direct support.

Our integrity is defined through our people (with a mix of in-house, operational and consulting backgrounds), our independence, our working relationships with each other, our clients and the market, and our conversation of the impact on pension scheme members and sponsors. If we don't think work will deliver value, or could weaken our independence, we won't do it.

We are looking to expand our friendly team following another successful year and continued expansion. We are looking for two experienced enthusiastic and motivated pension professionals to provide Trustee Executive Support services and to manage or support governance projects

We are looking for individuals to develop their careers with us in what is an innovative and professional environment, enjoying deep rooted values of integrity, independence and teamwork, who always put people and clients first and who enjoy working in a business free of politics and big corporate bureaucracy.

We have opened two great opportunities for individuals with experience in a senior corporate or consulting pensions role.

Senior Consultant/ Manager to lead the provision of executive governance support and advice to Trustees and in-house teams.

Consultant/ Assistant Manager to provide governance support and secretarial services to trustees and interim pension support to in-house teams.


Our Requirements

We are looking for:

  • professional collaborative attitude
  • high-integrity
  • confident self-starters
  • flexibility and happy to work in a small office environment
  • working experience of all types of occupational pension schemes
  • intellectual curiosity
  • attention to detail
  • good communication/ inter-personal skills at all levels
  • ideally APMI or equivalent professional qualification, or good progress towards for the more junior role
  • facilitation, problem solving and listening skills
  • skilled in building trusted relationships with clients and their advisers
  • ability and willingness to develop and pitch for new business opportunities.


Salary and Benefits

In return for these skills we offer a competitive salary, to reflect experience and knowledge, with pay reviews based on contribution. We also operate a profit sharing scheme.

Our office is at Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. Although these roles are office based, we allow some flexibility for individuals to work from home or from clients’ offices if appropriate.
