A bit about me
Spending time with my family and friends is really important to me, whether that is at home or in our local area or whilst visiting new places and trying new things. Aside from having fun with (or taking care of!) my young children, I enjoy walking, reading, sports – particularly F1 and football, spa days and a good afternoon tea! I also serve as a Trustee of a charity that supports our local hospital.
I joined Muse in January 2023 to use my experience, primarily gained from working within in-house pension teams, to deliver Trustee Executive and pension scheme governance services for trustees and/or employers.
I originally fell into pensions through KPMG’s A-Level trainee scheme, where I quickly found I enjoyed the work I was doing. Having undertaken both administration and consultancy work at KPMG, I moved in-house to National Grid, where I spent almost 11 years, holding three different roles. During my time at National Grid, I worked in both Trustee Services and Corporate Pensions teams, with my final role being Governance and Operations Manager within a Trustee Services team, supporting the trustees of their larger DB scheme (one of the UK’s largest DB pension schemes). In 2018 I moved to UK Power Networks where I was Secretary to the Trustees of their two DB pension arrangements.
I really enjoy my work and aim to channel my enthusiasm and experience into supporting and delivering effectively managed, well-governed pension schemes, by adding value through the work I do and by building positive relationships with stakeholders
