A bit about me

After having studied, worked and lived in three countries, I have now established my roots in the pensions world in the UK. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two young children and my other half, often riding scooters or bicycles in the park or finding a place to kick a football; as a result, much of my time is spent outdoors – whether in the sunshine or in the cold rain. I am also an avid film enthusiast and enjoy cooking a wide range of dishes from different cuisines, as well as eating out and exploring new places, which I like to think of as adventures.

Experience

On a professional level, I have been in the pensions industry for the last almost 7 years. I have worked as part of outsourced secretariat service providers supporting Trustee Boards in managing pension schemes for several well-recognised multinational companies across the globe. Over time, I have progressed from undertaking administrative tasks to assisting Boards with administration matters and key member communications, delivering ad-hoc projects, supporting governance and regulatory activities, liaising with advisers, contributing to financial forecasting and ensuring that all stakeholders remain on track.
Prior to starting my career in pensions, I had completed a Masters degree in Spanish as a Professional Language at the University of Barcelona, following a BA in Modern Languages in my hometown. These academic experiences equipped me with discipline, adaptability and intellectual curiosity.
